Huawei will debut the Mate XT 2 triple-foldable handset on September 7, but that’s not the only iconic creation coming; here are the details of smartphones and wearables that could make their way to the launch stage next week.
Weibo tipster @FixedFocus has revealed certain smartphones and wearables that can be part of the Huawei New Product Launch Event on September 7.
Starting with the star of the show, the Mate XT 2 will debut with a cover screen, hardware-level Privacy Display technology, and many other upgraded specifics.
The company has also confirmed the MatePad Air 2026 for the September 7 launch event. The ultra-light tablet will come with four new color schemes and an OLED PaperMatte screen technology, providing anti-glare and anti-reflection properties.
Pura X View is also on the list. Huawei has already showcased the device at the Enjoy G9 launch event, opening it for pre-order. Perhaps the official sale will begin on Sept 7, when the company will shed light on other specs of the phone in detail.

Another phone could be the affordable Pura 90 variant, allegedly named Pura 90 Plus. A recent leak suggested that Huawei might unveil a new Pura model alongside the Mate XT 2 tri-fold this month. However, the firm hasn’t confirmed the device yet.
For wearables, Huawei can bring the Watch D3 and Watch 6 to China on Sept 7. The tech giant will introduce these smartwatches globally today. Thus, they seem ready to join the Chinese market by next week.
