Miley Cyrus, who has apparently dropped her famous last name and is now going professionally by simply Miley, will move forward today with plans for two Hollywood Bowl shows in October and the release of her 10th studio album later this month.
The singer will perform at the Bowl on Oct. 16 and 18. Tickets will go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Sept. 10, following a series of presales, according to her representatives.
The concerts were announced as Miley prepares to release her new album, “Bass Persuades,” on Sept. 18 through Atlantic Records.
The announcement refers to the 33-year-old performer simply as “Miley,” following an apparent professional rebranding in which she dropped Cyrus from her name on her social media accounts.
The singer has not indicated whether the change is permanent.
An American Express presale for the Hollywood Bowl concerts will begin at 10 a.m. Sept. 8 and continue through 10 p.m. Sept. 9, while supplies last. Miley’s artist presale will begin at 10 a.m. Sept. 9.
The album follows Miley’s recent guest-edited special issue of Wonderland Magazine.
“This album is a love story, but love stories are never one- dimensional. They’re always layered,” Miley told Wonderland. “There is definitely a romantic thread weaving through it because, like all my records, it’s a reflection of where I am in my life.”
“Bass Persuades” will be Miley’s 10th studio album.
Miley won Record of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance at the 2024 Grammy Awards for “Flowers.” She followed those honors with the 2025 Grammy for Best Country Duo/Group Performance with Beyoncé.
The Hollywood Bowl concerts will mark a return to the stage for Miley, according to the announcement.
