Here are Saturday’s updates:
■ U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee met Saturday with Palestinian Americans in the West Bank town of Turmus Ayya, including relatives of U.S. citizens killed by Israeli settlers, and called for those responsible for settler violence to face prosecution.
■ The Israeli army said Saturday that it struck Hezbollah targets in southern Lebanon overnight, including weapons storage facilities, following what it described as an attempted drone attack on Israeli troops in a designated security zone.
■ The U.S. military has disabled advertising identifiers on phones and computers used by its forces following reports that commercially available location data was used to target American personnel in the Middle East, Reuters reported Friday.
■ Lebanon’s Ministry of Public Health said Friday that 4,352 people have been killed and 12,318 wounded in Israeli attacks in Lebanon since March 2, according to figures released by the ministry’s Emergency Operations Center and reported by Lebanon’s official National News Agency.
■ The Pentagon has subjected roughly 50 members of the U.S. military’s Joint Staff to polygraph tests as part of an investigation into leaks to journalists, including reports about how the war with Iran has depleted U.S. stocks of crucial munitions, The New York Times reported Friday.
■ The U.S. Treasury sanctioned a Turkish financial institution and two subsidiaries over its role in supporting Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, U.S. Ambassador to Turkey Tom Barrack said in a statement.
■ The Israeli military launched raids across the West Bank, Shehab and Quds News reported, saying the soldiers fired stun grenades and live ammunition in one of the raids.
