Full story below…

A month after his passing, the family of the 28-year-old star, born Raymond Harper, revealed that he died from natural causes.

Before his death, Ray revealed that he had pneumonia and a blood infection and was hospitalized, needing a breathing tube. Ray’s mother shared the heartbreaking news in early September, thanking fans for their outpouring of love and support. She posted:

“It is with a heavy heavy heart that I let you know that my son Ray Ray (@Iamrollingray) has gone home to be with the Lord. I thank everyone who has called or texted; this is going to be a long road,”

Known for his viral catchphrases like “purr” and “you’re still not that girl,” the DMV native built a loyal following through appearances on MTV’s Catfish: Trolls, Divorce Court, and several Zeus Network shows.

Despite battling major health challenges over the years, Ray’s humor, resiliency, and unapologetic personality made him a social media legend whose influence will live on – big purr.

Continued condolences to the family and friends of Rolling Ray.
