If you’ve been holding off on upgrading your smartphone to a new generation, now is your time. For Amazon’s fall deal holiday, Prime Big Deal Days, a wide array of models, including Samsung, Google, Nothing, and more, are on sale. I’ve rounded up the best Prime Day phone deals to help you get shopping.

Whether you’re hoping to upgrade an old model or gift a new device to a loved one, Prime Day is a good time to buy. Some of my favorite phone deals include $365 off the S25 Ultra, and fresh deals on the still rather new Pixel 10 phones.

Keep scrolling to peruse the best smartphone offers from Prime Big Deal Days. We’ll be covering the discounts here, so keep tabs on this story and our Prime Day deals hub to make shopping a little easier during the event.

The best Prime Day smartphone deals

galaxy s25 ultra

Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra

The Galaxy S25 Ultra is Samsung’s top-end phone in 2025. It’s set apart from its Galaxy S25 siblings with its four cameras, giant 6.9-inch display, stronger glass screen, and included S Pen stylus.

Google Pixel 9

Google Pixel 9

Relative to its recent predecessors, Google’s Pixel 9 has a refined design, an upgraded display and camera system, and a new processor for Google’s latest AI suite. However, it lacks the zoom lens that other base Android flagships offer.

Google Pixel 9a

The Pixel 9a runs on the same Tensor G4 as Google’s latest flagship phones and carries many of the same features, including the Gemini AI suite. The main compromise in exchange for a lower price is a slightly less premium design with a plastic back instead of glass.

Q&A formatIs Prime Day a good time to buy a phone?

Prime Day is a good time to buy many things, smartphones included. With brands like Samsung, Google, and Apple discounting their devices for the event, you can save on models across the board. You’ll generally find more variety and better prices come Black Friday, but it’s generally not by much. If you can’t afford to wait until then, don’t feel bad about buying now.

Is it safe to buy phones on Amazon?

Buying phones on Amazon is definitely legit, especially if you’re buying directly from Amazon or the brand itself. The only time you should be wary is when the listing is sold or fulfilled by an unknown third party. Though some have been proven safe, it’s hard to say shopping from all of them is trustworthy.

Always double-check when shopping online to ensure that you’re actually buying from a reputable seller on Amazon.
