After Friday morning’s clouds dissipate, the weather will turn fair. Temperatures will drop slightly later in the day, mainly along the Coastal Plain, in the Shfela and the Negev, and will be seasonable. Skies will be clear overnight.
The maximum forecast UV index will be high to very high, while extreme heat stress is expected around the Sea of Galilee, in the Jordan Valley and the Arava. The Mediterranean Sea will be calm to wavy, with waves ranging from 30 to 70 centimeters (12 to 28 inches).
