MERIDIAN, Idaho (CBS2) — Exciting news for book lovers in the Treasure Valley, a new Barnes & Noble is set to open its doors on Wednesday, October 15, 2025.

The new Barnes & Noble is located in The Village at Meridian between Michaels and Petco. The new bookstore, the second in the Boise area, will feature 20,000 square feet of books, all of which can be enjoyed with something sweet or something caffeinated from the B&N Cafe.

The grand opening is slated for 10:00 a.m. with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and book signing by local author Raegan Fordemwalt with her latest release, “Prince of Hearts.”
