The New England Patriots delivered a commanding 45-17 win over the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 5 of the NFL season, with a performance from Drake Maye that reignited excitement around the team.
From Gillette Stadium, Nacho García shared his thoughts with MARCA after the game, highlighting the quarterback’s four touchdown passes, nearly 400 passing yards, and a rushing touchdown that capped off an outstanding afternoon.
Maye also recorded his second consecutive game with at least three touchdowns, a feat that, as Nacho pointed out, no Patriots player had accomplished since Tom Brady.
All of this came amid several injuries on offense, including those suffered by Henderson and Campbell during the game.
With New England showing a different side and Maye rediscovering the form that brought him close to winning the MVP award last season, Nacho wrapped up his report with a question for fans: Is there enough reason to put the quarterback back in the MVP conversation?
