Singer and actor Yuri will appear in the new sitcom “I’m rebooting again today!” produced by Content Lab Vivo, led by Song Eun I.

On the 21st, OSEN reported that Girls’ Generation’s Yuri recently received a casting offer for Disney+’s new sitcom “I’m rebooting again today!” and has tentatively decided to appear while positively considering it.

“I’m rebooting again today” depicts the survival comedy of three women who reboot themselves every day against the backdrop of Pangyo, the fastest-growing IT city in Korea. It captures the chaotic party of three close friends in their late 30s: a psychiatrist with intermittent explosive disorder, a workaholic IT employee, and a stingy building owner.

Yuri plays Baek Ok-hee, a stingy building owner in Pangyo who owns a small building and a villa. She is a rental business owner with two buildings in Pangyo, a maximized survivor who lives life for cost performance, an old-fashioned frugal character.

Earlier, Yuri made a fresh start after parting ways with her former agency SM Entertainment, with which she had debuted. She broke down in tears when leaving SM, saying, “I joined as a trainee in 2001, and now 25 years have passed. Thank you for raising, cherishing and loving me, Yuri,” and “We will be together again, so let’s meet again with smiles. I love you SM. Goodbye,” and could not stop crying.

Yuri has recently shown active activities such as the Girls’ Generation unit group Hyori-su and the variety show I Live Alone, and this is her first challenge in a new sitcom after leaving SM. Interest is growing in the comic acting she has not shown so far, rather than straight dramas or films.

Meanwhile, “I’m rebooting again today” is a work co-produced by Content Lab Vivo and KT Studio Genie, and will be released on the global platform Disney+. Above all, Content Lab Vivo is also a comprehensive content production company led by famous comedian Song Eun I as CEO. It is a genre that adds office, comedy and romance elements, and is planned as a total of 20 episodes.<
