The resale listings appeared just hours after the iPhone Duo went on sale in a launch that attracted more than 200 people to Apple’s flagship store on Orchard Road in Singapore.

Long lines had formed as early as 4:30 a.m., ahead of the store’s 8 a.m. opening, local news outlet Mothership reported.

The first walk-in customer in line was Adnan Mehta, a 36-year-old from Mumbai, India, who had waited for more than 10 hours.

The clinical data management professional had arrived in Singapore a day earlier with two friends specifically for the launch.

They chose the city-state because they “wanted to explore both the great technology of iPhone’s new features in the great city of Singapore at the same time,” Mehta told The Straits Times.

According to Bloomberg, the iPhone Duo is launching in much more limited quantities compared to previous Apple models.

Consumers placing new orders for the model through Apple’s website are being given delivery dates in January 2027, though some estimates have been brought forward to November or December. The wait is among the longest for a new Apple product in the company’s modern history.

Apple had previously said that walk-in customers would not be able to buy the iPhone Duo at launch in several Asian markets, such as China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Malaysia, South Korea and Thailand.
