Rocker Machine Gun Kelly is gushing over “phenomenal mom” Megan Fox, but insiders tell the National Enquirer his praise is yet another tactic to try to worm his way back into the actress’ heart despite her stance that they just stay friends while raising their baby girl.
“They’ve been cordial but not romantic during the first months of co-raising their baby, but it’s no secret MGK wants more,” says an insider.
Sources say that’s why he’s pouring on the flattery in public.
On the Sept. 18 episode of The Jennifer Hudson Show, the “Bad Things” singer, 35, dished about coparenting 6-month-old daughter Saga Blade with 39-year-old Megan.

“I had it with a person who is the greatest partner, the greatest person to have had a child with,” the rapper said, describing the Transformers beauty as “such a phenomenal mom.”
While MGK has been piling on the praise, the insider notes: “He’s not putting on any pressure. He doesn’t want to trigger Megan.”
“He’s being super sweet and showing that he’s changed and can do better as opposed to telling her, which he’s tried to do before with no success.”

The couple quashed their engagement in November 2024 shortly after Megan reportedly discovered texts on his phone with other women. She announced her pregnancy with a photo of her cradling her bump and the caption, “Nothing is ever really lost. Welcome back,” an apparent reference to her 2021 miscarriage.
Adds the insider, “Bottom line is MGK wants to come back and be a real family, but he’s going to have to be patient. Megan wants a friendly but platonic relationship with him. She isn’t giving him false hopes. She wants him in their daughter Saga’s life — but nothing more.”
