Amy Poehler Monologue

Poehler expressed her excitement to return to SNL before making jokes about how the world has changed since its debut in 1975.

“I remember watching the show in the ’70s, sitting in my house in Burlington, Massachusetts thinking, ‘I want to be an actress someday, at least until they invent an AI actress who’s funnier and willing to do full frontal,’ ” she joked, referring to recently launched AI-generated actress Tilly Norwood.

Non-Alcoholic Beer

Dismukes starred in a commercial about non-alcoholic beer.

He played a husband who swaps his non-alcoholic beer for a “non-non-alcoholic beer” after realizing he misses getting drunk.

“Are you serious? Their tone is like so offended,” the boyfriend declared, as she tried to convince him that the standoffish family liked him.

Aubrey Plaza also made a surprise appearance as the “new girl.”

Psychic Talk Show

“A woman in Tennessee broke a hospital record after giving birth to a 13-pound baby. The record was for loosest vagina and was previously held by me,” Poehler joked.

Other current affairs were mocked during the Weekend Update including President Donald Trump losing the Nobel Peace Prize and Robert F. Kennedy Jr.‘s autism claims.

Emo Mom

Poehler played a mother who is confronted by her family over a phase that she’s going through.

She is seen interrupting dinner with her complaints about work and parenting responsibilities before screaming, “Life is pain!”
