Amazfit T-Rex 3 Pro

Amazfit, the US-based international smart wearables brand, has unveiled the new Amazfit T-Rex 3 Pro sports watch, which features a 44mm case and a 1.32” AMOLED display.

The smartwatch supports six satellite systems, including GPS and Galileo, with a dual circularly polarised antenna. Its next-generation BioTracker 6.0 PPG sensor monitors heart rate, VO2 max, training load, recovery time, heart rate variability, and sleep quality.

The watch continuously updates a BioCharge Energy Score, which indicates a user’s fatigue and recovery levels, and can compare current performance with previous sessions during endurance workouts.

The Amazfit T-Rex 3 Pro supports over 180 sports modes, such as running, trail running, and treadmill training. It also offers three exclusive modes for HYROX enthusiasts – HYROX Training, HYROX PFT, and HYROX Race – developed through Amazfit’s partnership as HYROX’s official wearable technology partner.

The watch is constructed from Grade 5 titanium, which makes it stronger and lighter than stainless-steel designs, weighing just under 47g. The more compact shape is aimed at both women and men who prefer a smaller and lighter watch to track their performance metrics.

The T-Rex 3 Pro is designed for both gym and outdoor workouts. It includes a built-in LED flashlight and SOS mode for training during the darker autumn/fall and winter months. The display is protected by sapphire crystal glass.

The display reaches a peak brightness of 3,000 nits and automatically adapts to ambient light conditions. It also features Night Mode (an infrared display of key data) and Glove Mode.

A built-in speaker and microphone support Bluetooth calls and voice control via Zepp Flow, delivering audio alerts during workouts or events. It can also perform in extreme temperatures ranging from –30∘C to +70∘C.

Other features include weather alerts (such as mountain condition warnings), key health and performance metrics, including data for dives up to 45m, and customisable workout views. It integrates with the Amazfit Helio Ring and Helio Strap, as well as HR straps, power meters, cadence sensors, and cycling computers from other brands.

The watch offers access to free offline city, topographic, and ski maps, with tools to search locations and create routes directly on the watch. A built-in podcast app offers over 4 million downloadable episodes for offline listening.

The smartwatch delivers up to 17 days of battery life, or 13 hours in training mode with GPS and Always-on Display enabled. The Amazfit T-Rex 3 Pro 44 mm is available in two colourways: black-gold and arctic-gold. The recommended retail price is £399.90.

Amazfit is part of Zepp Health, a health technology company with its principal office based in Gorinchem, the Netherlands.
