Dakota Mortensen shared his reaction to his ex, Taylor Frankie Paul, becoming the next “Bachelorette.”
“The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” star Taylor Frankie revealed on “Call Her Daddy” that she would be the suitor on the 22nd season of “The Bachelorette,” and Mortensen shared his response via his Instagram story.
He shared a selfie which had text on top of it saying, “Had so many curve balls today and everytime [sic] I am always reminded there is nothing more important than God and family,” he wrote in overlaying text. “Life is to [sic] short.”
During Paul’s “CHD” appearance, host Alex Cooper asked the reality star when she last “hooked up” with her ex when she admitted the pair might have done the deed while they were at Stagecoach.
“Maybe one after. It’s very confusing,” Taylor tells Cooper. A clip of this moment was uploaded to TikTok, where Mortensen chimed in with a snarky comment reading, “1 or 2 timesGot it lol.”
Paul admitted that she did not give her ex the heads up of her casting news, “I have not confirmed it with him. So I don’t know if he knows or if he knew I had the opportunity. So he’ll know Wednesday,” she shared with Cooper.
When asked about how her ex would handle this news, Paul admits he would be “probably sad.”
“If anything he says is real, I would say sad,” Paul added. “He does know that I was dating and, you know, meeting people, so that we’ve already had that first hurt, I guess. I think that’s the hardest part is when you see their first dating or hookup or whatever it is. That’s gonna always take a toll no matter what.”
“The Bachelorette” will air in 2026, but “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” premieres on Hulu on Nov. 13 with all 10 episodes dropping at once.
