In continuation of the previous two months’ decline, Bangladesh’s merchandise exports fell by 7.43% in October.

In October of FY2025-26, Bangladesh exported $3.63 billion to global markets, according to latest data from the Export Promotion Bureau (EPB). The country exported $4.13 billion in the same month of FY2024-25.

EPB data also showed that except for July in the current fiscal year, exports declined for three consecutive months from August to October.

However, during the July-October period, Bangladesh’s exports grew by 2.22%.

In the past four months, the country’s total exports amounted to $16.14 billion, which was $15.79 billion in the same period of FY25.
