Richmond can confirm that three players have been advised they will not be offered contracts for next season.
Richmond can provide the below AFLW list update following the Club’s end-of-season player review process this week.
Players Charley Ryan, Lauren Brazzale and Lulu Beatty were all informed that they will not be offered contracts for the 2026 season.
Beatty and Brazzale both joined the Club as replacement players during the pre-season following ACL injuries to Zoe Hargreaves and Ryan.
Brazzale, 32, played two games for Richmond to take her career tally to 75 matches across all 10 seasons of the AFLW competition.
Beatty featured three times for the Tigers, averaging 7.7 disposals to add to the four games she played at Carlton in 2024.
Ryan was cruelled by injury throughout her four seasons at Tigerland, with her first two years wiped out by injuries, including the ACL recovery from her U/18s year.
The former pick No. 38 played six games last year before she re-ruptured her ACL this pre-season.
Richmond AFLW List and Recruiting Manager, Trent Mosbey, wished Ryan, Brazzale, and Beatty well for the future.
“We thank Lulu and Lauren for their hard work and adaptability since joining our program at short notice as replacement players during the off-season,” he said.
“Charley was unlucky with injury across her four years with us, but her attitude never wavered, which is a credit to her.
“All three girls put their best foot forward and we are grateful for their contribution.”
Mosbey also confirmed that midfielder Grace Egan was “encouraged in her exit interview to explore her options”.
“At this stage, our conversations with Grace have been around her exploring opportunities elsewhere,” he said.
“We will work through that and how a suitable trade could look.”
The AFLW Trade Period will run from December 4 to December 10, with the National Draft on Monday, December 15.
