Aryna Sabalenka is back in a WTA Finals championship match.
The women’s tennis world No.1 came through a thrilling encounter with Amanda Anisimova on Friday (7 November) evening in Riyadh, finding a late surge in the third set to win 6-3, 3-6, 6-3 in two hours and 23 minutes.
The Belarusian advances to her second WTA Finals singles title match and first since 2022, when she lost to Caroline Garcia 7–6(4), 6–4 in Fort Worth.
