Elon Musk’s appearance on the popular podcast The Joe Rogan Experience featured plenty of notable moments. However, one that certainly stood out above the rest was a gentleman’s agreement prompted by Musk. After hearing the alien-focused deal, it’s safe to say that if the Tesla CEO makes a return appearance on Joe Rogan’s podcast, you’ll want to tune in.
Throughout a conversation that ranged from Musk’s purchase of Twitter to bold takes on Bill Gates and other high-profile names, the topic of aliens and extraterrestrial life came up. When all was said and done, Musk promised Rogan that if he finds evidence of aliens, he’ll drop the news on his podcast.
Elon Musk’s Alien Evidence Promise to Joe Rogan
Musk and Rogan began discussing 3I/Atlas, which is the third interstellar comet discovered. After Rogan asked Musk if he’s been paying attention to it, the Tesla CEO responded by promising that if he comes across evidence of aliens, he’ll come back on Rogan’s podcast and reveal it.
“If I was aware of any evidence of aliens, Joe, you have my word. I will come on your show and I will reveal it on the show,” Musk said.”
After Rogan responded by stating, “That’s a good deal, I’ll believe you.” To which Musk then doubled down by stating he keeps his promises and will honor it.
“I keep my, you know, keep my promises,” Musk added.
While Musk, who founded Space Exploration Technologies Corp., commonly known as SpaceX, has already done a significant number of launches, he’s also launched Starlink satellites. The full details of launches can be found on SpaceXNow.
SpaceX also teamed up with NASA after astronauts Suni Williams and Butch Wilmore were in space for more than nine months after their Boeing Starliner spacecraft malfunctioned, according to CNN. As the details highlight, Williams and Wilmore boarded a SpaceX Crew Dragon capsule to return home from what was expected to be a short trip.
As for the topic of extraterrestrial life, it has been a popular one in recent years, with various videos and clips suggesting they’ve seen alien lifeforms. Obviously, nothing has been confirmed, and no information about the topic has been publicly addressed, but it’s fair to assume the conversation won’t cool off anytime soon.
Musk’s comments on buying Twitter were also noteworthy, as he and Rogan discussed the censorship occurring across social media. Musk stated the “reason for acquiring Twitter is because it was causing destruction at a civilizational level.” He was extremely blunt in his comments and approach to purchasing Twitter and discussing social media as a whole.
Considering Musk’s stance on social media and his support for free speech, it’ll be interesting to see if he and Rogan link back up at some point down the line for what would be a highly anticipated conversation about extraterrestrial life.
