She’s back, and fans couldn’t be more obsessed! Demi Lovato just gave fans exactly what they’ve been waiting for: a new era of pop perfection. Her latest single, “Here All Night,” dropped September 12, 2025, and it’s already shaping up to be one of her catchiest heartbreak anthems yet.

The Camp Rock star dropped the entire video on YouTube, but shared a teaser of it on her TikTok account. It’s the second song off her upcoming ninth studio album, and was produced by Zhone, who has also worked with Kylie Minogue, Troye Sivan, and Kesha.

Demi’s Fan’s Are ‘Obsessed’ With the Music Video

Fans are already losing it over “Here All Night,” flooding Demi’s socials with love for the song, the video, and the whole vibe of this new era. One excited listener declared, “Oh, Demi is definitely taking all my money for this upcoming tour,” while another gushed over the retro influences, writing, “I love the 80s vibes everyone is giving.” Others were simply thrilled to have her back, with one fan shouting, “SHE IS SO BACKKKK,” and another begging, “Miss Lovato. Just drop that album, babes.”

And of course, it wouldn’t be a Demi release without fans praising her talent from every angle. Comments like “SHEEEEEEEEE IS A DANCER!” and “POP ICON” poured in, while others couldn’t get enough of the combination of “VOCALS, CHOREO, SONG, VIDEO.” One fan summed it up perfectly: “VOCALS, CHOREOGRAPHY, TALENT, BEAUTY, you have it all Demi!!” With another calling the track “fire” and “one for those late-night vibes,” it’s clear Demi’s new single has her fandom hooked — and ready for more.

‘Here All Night’ Is About a Breakup — but Not Demi’s

What makes “Here All Night” especially compelling is that it’s a breakup song — but not from Demi’s own recent life. She explained in an interview that she created it by “channeling a character,” taking on the role of someone going through heartbreak even though she’s happily married.

The pop diva explained on the Just Trish Podcast, “‘Here All Night’ is about a breakup, but I didn’t write it about an actual breakup. I made it up. And that was a part of this album that was a little challenging for me was how do I write songs about breakups when I just got married? How do I write songs about this or that?”

She continued, “And it’s like sometimes I was like, you know what, let me just, with that song in particular, I was like, let me just like channel, you know, someone that just went through a breakup, and I don’t relate to it at all, but like I’m going to almost play a character while writing that day. And I wrote that song and it turned out awesome and I’m so glad that I put on that character in order to get the song out.”

Demi is proving she knows exactly how to keep fans hooked with her new single. If “Here All Night” is any indication, her upcoming ninth album is about to be packed with bops, and fans are more than ready to stay up all night for whatever comes next.
