With an unstoppable ace and the roar of the Italian crowd, Jannik Sinner could not have asked for a better start to the 2025 ATP Finals.
The defending champion opened his campaign with a dominant victory in the year-end tennis finals in Turin, defeating Olympic mixed doubles bronze medallist Félix Auger-Aliassime 7-5, 6-1 on Monday (10 November).
Only eight days had passed since Sinner and Auger-Aliassime’s last meeting, where the former prevailed in straight sets in the Paris Masters final. It is now a fourth win in four meetings this year for second seed Sinner, who begins in perfect fashion.
