Mike Perry and Jeremy Stephens nearly had their BKFC 82 main event bout two events earlier than scheduled.

Perry and Stephens, both former UFC fighters, are set to headline BKFC’s first ever event in New Jersey on Oct. 4 as they battle for Perry’s King of Violence title at Prudential Center in Newark. Both fighters were in attendance at Friday night’s BKFC 80 event at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and went face-to-face for the crowd to promote their fight.

During the heated faceoff, tempers flared, Perry shoved Stephens after some choice words, and all hell broke loose. Check out the video of the near-skirmish below.

Perry is the face of BKFC, going 5-0 in the promotion, including victories over Eddie Alvarez, Michael Page, Luke Rockhold, and Thiago Alves. “Platinum” makes his first promotional appearance in 18 months, and competes for the first time since getting stopped by Jake Paul in a boxing match in July 2023.

Stephens is 3-0 in BKFC, including a knockout win over Alvarez at KnuckleMania 5 in January.
