When the GQ Men of the Year 2025 party dress code calls for ’90s Hollywood Red Carpet energy, and your dad just so happens to be one of the most iconic movie stars of the ’90s (and, uh, the ’80s, ’00s, ’10s, and ’20s), you’d be an absolute fool not to pay homage to him with your fit. And a fool Patrick Schwarzenegger most certainly is not.

The 26-year-old White Lotus star pulled up to our MOTY 30 bash in a look straight outta his pops Arnold’s 1991 classic Terminator 2: Judgment Day: a heavyweight leather biker jacket, leather trousers, Cuban heel boots, and Wayfarer shades. While the entire look hailed from Haider Ackermann’s Tom Ford, it is funny to imagine Patrick sauntering into his father’s bedroom and calmly proclaiming, “I need your clothes, your boots, and your motorcycle.

The one way in which Patrick actually one-upped his old man? He traded in the Terminator’s gray cotton T-shirt for a matching leather crewneck. On his wrist, he also sported a gleaming Santos de Cartier watch.

On the red carpet, Schwarzenegger stopped for a brief chat with MOTY livestream co-hosts, How Long Gone’s Chris Black and Jason Stewart. “I gotta ask you,” Black said, “what does one wear under a leather shirt?”

“Nothing, brother,” the actor replied. “I let it squeak all over.”

Stewart then chimed in with a follow up, handing Schwarzenegger a notecard. “Can you please read this In-N-Out order in your dad’s voice?”

“Absolutely not,” Schwarzenegger replied, laughing. Guess the paternal tribute act only goes so far.
