Country music legend Vince Gill is set to be honored with the 2025 CMA Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award next week.

Gill will be recognized for his trailblazing career and celebrated with a special tribute performance at the 59th annual awards ceremony, which will air Nov. 19 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC and stream the next day on Hulu.

Lainey Wilson will return to host the festivities after co-hosting the 2024 CMA Awards alongside Luke Bryan and Peyton Manning.

Wilson is familiar with the CMA stage, having taken home nine CMA Awards in the past, including entertainer of the year in 2023 and female vocalist of the year.

“I grew up watching the CMA Awards like it was the Super Bowl, so to be hosting for a second year is a true honor,” Wilson said previously in a press release. “I’m humbled that CMA has trusted me with this role, and I can’t wait to love on this genre that has given me so much.”

Along with news of Gill’s honor, “GMA” announced in Nov. 13 that Kenny Chesney, Miranda Lambert, Brandi Carlile, Chris Stapleton, Kelsea Ballerini and Old Dominion would perform at the ceremony.

The Country Music Association also previously announced the first category of awards and nominations exclusively on “Good Morning America” in September.
