TV’s Biggest Night is upon us. It’s the 77th annual Primetime Emmy Awards, and Deadline is posting the winners live as they’re announced at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles. See the list below.
Britt Lower won Lead Actress in a Drama series for Apple TV+’s Severance on her first career nom.
After presenter Stephen Colbert got a rousing ovation, Seth Rogen took the first award of the night, Lead Actor in a Comedy Series for Apple TV+’s The Studio — his first. The show led the field at last weekend’s two-night Creative Arts Emmys. Jean Smart followed with a Lead Actress in a Comedy win for Hacks — her fourth for the HBO Max show and seventh of her career.
Rogen later picked up a second Emmy for directing The Studio, shared with Evan Goldberg.
Hannah Einbinder finally broke through on her fourth career nomination, winning Supporting Actress In A Comedy Series in Hacks.

Katherine LaNasa and Tramell Tillman later took Supporting Actress and Actor in a Drama for HBO Max’s breakout freshman series The Pitt and Apple’s Severance, respectively — each on their first career nom. Tillman is the first Black man to win in his category. Jeff Hiller followed suit with Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for HBO’s now-wrapped Somebody Somewhere on his first career nominations.
Peacock’s The Traitors won its second consecutive Emmy for Reality Competition Program, and the win made it 5-for-5 this year, winning in all of its nominated categories including the Creative Arts wins. HBO’s Last Week Tonight won its third consecutive Emmy for Scripted Variety Series.
Philip Barantini won Netflix’s first statuette of the night, for directing the smash limited series Adolescence. Same for Adam Randall, who won Directing For A Drama Series for Apple TV+’s Slow Horses.
The night first statuette for writing went to Dan Gilroy for Disney+’s Star Wars drama Andor.

Thus far, Severance with three Hacks with two are the only multiple winners on the night. Apple TV+ and the combined HBO/HBO Max lead all networks — running away with five Primetime Emmys. Disney+, Peacock and Netflix have one apiece.
Apple TV+ drama Severance comes in as the most-nominated show with 27, followed by HBO limited series The Penguin with 24. Apple TV+ comedy The Studio and HBO drama The White Lotus are next with 23 noms apiece, and Hacks is second in the comedy field with 14. The combined HBO/HBO Max tops all networks and streamers with 142 nominations, ahead of Netflix’s 120 — the only platforms in triple digits.
