Greek tourism’s dynamic growth trajectory continues, as the year is expected to close with record arrivals and receipts exceeding €23 billion euros and possibly reaching €23.5 billion.

Given that Greek tourism is growing in parallel with arrivals and receipts and its share in the global market, the estimates for its medium and long-term performance are particularly positive.

Data cited in a recent presentation by the National Bank of Greece show that by 2040 travel arrivals will reach 55 million, i.e. an increase of 18 million from current levels, and travel receipts will reach €36 billion, which is €14 billion more than last year.
