HONOLULU–The University of Hawai’i softball team will host their first-ever Pre-Season Pa’ina fundraiser on Saturday, January 18th, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. HT at the Rainbow Wahine Softball Stadium. This inaugural event will be a fun-filled opportunity to meet with first year head coach Panita Thanatharn, her staff and the 2026 Rainbow Wahine softball team. Fans can watch/participate in exciting interactive activities which include a team “Hit-A-Thon”, a Home Run Derby for UH alumnae and Pa’ina guests, plus an autograph session with the team.
Admission ticket includes heavy pupu and two drink coupons. Adult tickets are $50 and $25 per child (ages 6-14)
Hawai’i softball alumnae can attend the event and compete in the Home Run Derby for FREE. Pa’ina guests can show off their hitting skills in the derby with a $50 donatio fee.
Proceeds from the Pre-Season Pa’ina will help fuel the locker room with protein shakes, healthy snacks, etc.; technology for scouting and filming; and team development equipment.
