A new session of GriefShare, a nationally recognized grief recovery support program, will begin Jan. 10, at First Baptist Church of Mountain Home.The 13-week program will meet Saturday mornings from 10 to 11:30 at the church, located at 1205 Spring St. GriefShare is designed to help individuals who are grieving the loss of a loved one in a supportive, group setting.
Chuck and Cheryl Knapp lead the program and recently discussed it on KTLOÂ’s Talk of the Town. Chuck Knapp said the program not only offers guidance on healing after the loss of a loved one, but also fosters a sense of community.

Each session includes a 30-minute video featuring nationally recognized experts on grief recovery and faith, followed by guided study and round-table discussion. Topics include understanding grief, loneliness and sadness, regrets and self-care, anger and questions for God, and finding hope and resilience.
Classes are free to attend, with a recommended workbook available for a $20 fee. Participants who miss a session may catch up online at GriefShare.org.
