(MAYVILLE) Mayville leaders want to know what people in the city want and need in terms of healthcare. Residents are encouraged to answer a ten-question survey that went out with property tax bills. The survey is also available online, and paper surveys are available at City Hall.

A special committee of health care and medical professionals was formed after SSM closed its Mayville clinic in September. The panel will take the feedback into consideration as the city considers its next steps.

“The hope of the survey is that we can collect enough input from the community to isolate where the most immediate needs are, so our health and medical committee knows where to first concentrate their efforts,” said Mayville City Clerk Anastasia Gonstead.

Filled-out questionnaires are due by the end of business on Tuesday, Dec. 30.
