AMES, Iowa – The Iowa State Athletics Department sits at No. 17 in the Division I Learfield Directors’ Cup standings in the latest standings release.
ISU earned 189.0 points to rank third among Big 12 schools behind only BYU and Colorado. The Cyclones earned points in men’s and women’s cross country, as well as volleyball.
The men’s cross country team posted a third-place finish at the NCAA Championships, while the women’s team finished in 20th place.
Iowa State’s volleyball team returned to the NCAA Tournament and defeated St. Thomas to reach the second round.
