A new look at Simon Williams’ Marvel Cinematic Universe debut has been revealed through the latest Wonder Man trailer. Yahya Abdul-Mateen II is set to finally join the MCU timeline through the Wonder Man live-action series, which will see another Marvel hero joining the franchise.
With 2026 finally here, Disney+ has released a new trailer for the Wonder Man TV show, as the series is only weeks away from its debut. Check it out below:
The Wonder Man trailer shows Simon trying out for the new reboot of the superhero property, while also attempting to hide the fact that he has powers, which are more demonstrated in the latest footage. Yahya Abdul-Mateen II’s titular hero is also joined by Sir Ben Kingsley’s Trevor Slattery in the Wonder Man TV show.
There are also still several more Phase 6 shows coming up for Marvel Studios, as Daredevil: Born Again season 2 will be arriving in March, bringing Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock back together after the events of season 1. Krysten Ritter’s Jessica Jones will be making her return to the MCU in the second season.
While Disney+ hasn’t announced a formal premiere date, VisionQuest is set to debut on Disney+ later this year, marking the third installment in the WandaVision trilogy. It will be the final spinoff, following WandaVision and Agatha All Along, with Paul Bettany’s beloved MCU hero finally taking the spotlight.
Marvel Studios has yet to reveal where the MCU audience will see Simon after his solo series, as they are currently focusing on finishing The Multiverse Saga with the next two Avengers movies. Wonder Man marks the third Marvel project from Destin Daniel Cretton, following Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings and Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
Wonder Man premieres on January 27, 2026, only on Disney+.
