Bills shift their focus to playoffs

In the midst of high emotions and a sentimental moment, Buffalo is ready to continue its season. As a Wild Card team, the Bills play in the first week of playoffs on one of three days, Jan. 10-12. Their first postseason matchup is against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

“Happy to go play,” Davis said. “See those guys, get some warm weather.”

During Week 18’s game, many starters sat out, meaning backups got important reps in before the playoffs start. That included quarterback Mitchell Trubisky, running backs Ray Davis and Ty Johnson in the offensive backfield, tight end Keleki Latu and linebacker Joe Andreeson.

“Anytime you can get those reps is huge,” Andreeson said. “You want to go out there and try and impress and ball out. I think the defense, we had a good day. I’m sure there’s a bunch of stuff to improve on, but it’s fun flying out.”

The Bills don’t have a lot of time to rest, but they’re ready to go nonetheless and look forward to their postseason run.
