A private health clinic in Rossett is now providing paediatric services and treatment for children and young people across the area.

Bridge House Clinic, which opened in April 2025, has received approval to provide GP appointments and specialist care for a range of common childhood concerns such as dermatology, ear, nose and throat conditions and orthopaedics, as well as preventative services including childhood immunisations

This is the latest development for the private health clinic, which has already expanded its team of medical specialists and range of services since opening in the spring.

Located on Station Road in Rossett, the building has undergone a complete transformation since it was purchased by founder, Dr Arvin Rodrigues, a consultant clinical neurophysiologist with a background in neurophysiology and epilepsy.

He opened the clinic to help would bridge the gap for those looking for faster and more convenient access to care and treatment in the Wrexham and Chester area.

The building was previously rented out as business offices and underwent substantial work to transform it into an ideal space for carrying out medical procedures and confidential patient appointments. Now fully renovated and equipped with state-of-the-art medical equipment, it operates as a medical and wellness clinic.

Dr Rodrigues said, “From the outset, I wanted to provide fast access to medical appointments for residents in the Wrexham and Chester areas. We have been seeing adult patients from the local community, but it was important to me that we offer appointments to children.

He added: “Nobody wants to wait to access treatment or for a diagnosis, and we know that waiting times on the NHS can be long. For parents, that can be incredibly stressful and for children, it can be difficult to understand.

“Children often wait far too long to see specialists in areas where they have common concerns, such as dermatology and ENT. This is where we can help. Parents can book for their child to see a private GP or directly to see a specialist without having to wait weeks or months for an appointment.

“We don’t just want to see children when they are unwell, though; we are here to support with preventative measures too, such as childhood immunisations.”
