Ex-Julius Baer Banker Joins Hong Kong EAM as COO

A former Julius Baer managing director has joined a Hong Kong-based external asset manager as its operations chief.

Blackhorn Wealth Management has appointed Andy Yuen as chief operating officer, according to a LinkedIn post. In the role, he will have oversight of the firm’s entire operations and compliance function.

Yuen has over 30 years of experience in Hong Kong, most recently as managing director and senior advisor at Julius Baer, where he directed teams serving ultra-high net worth clients across Greater China. Previously, he also held senior roles at UBS, Goldman Sachs and Citibank.

Blackhorn is a Hong Kong-based external asset manager founded in 2021. In August 2025, 65 percent equity interest from the firm was acquired by CTF Services, a Hong Kong-listed diversified group controlled by local tycoon Henry Cheng who established property giant New World Development.
