Ken Kirby is returning as Dr. John Shen in season two! HBO released the following still (embedded above) from season 2, showing Ken on set with Noah Wyle filming a scene.
Ken appeared in the final four episodes of season 1.
Patrick Ball as Dr. Langdon – Returning, Despite His Character’s Shaky Standing
The good news is Patrick Ball confirmed he’ll be returning as Dr. Langdon. We’re assuming this means he agrees to Robby’s rehab terms.
“The writer’s room is up and right now Scott [Gemmill] and the writers are coming up with their plan for season two. I learned that it was gonna be July 4th weekend from the same press release that you did. But I can’t wait. I think Scott is unbelievable at what he does. So I can’t wait to see what he’s cooking,” Patrick told the New York Post a few weeks back.
