Iowa State Student-Athletes Post Strong Fall In Classroom

AMES, Iowa – Iowa State student-athletes posted a 3.38 grade point average during the fall semester, continuing a trend of success in the classroom.

Seventeen Cyclone teams posted a GPA above 3.00 in the fall and 60 student-athletes finished the semester with a 4.00 GPA. ISU had 194 student-athletes named to the Dean’s List and 369 were scholar-athletes.

In total, 81 percent of student-athletes recorded a 3.0 or better GPA.

Current Cyclone student-athletes hold a 3.36 GPA.

Iowa State held its fall graduation ceremony last week and 29 student-athletes earned their degrees from the school.
