Buzzkill is getting ready to make a splash with viewers.

Siena Agudong (Sidelined: The QB and Me and its sequel), Brec Bassinger (Final Destination: Bloodlines) and Aliyah’s Interlude (English Teacher) are set to star in Tubi‘s forthcoming YA horror-comedy feature Buzzkill, The Hollywood Reporter has exclusively learned. Director Jem Garrard’s project is currently in production.

Buzzkill centers on a group of sorority sisters who end up trapped with a murderer. Nora’s (Agudong) tipsy memories hold the clues to figuring out who is killing their friends, but she can only remember them when she’s drunk.

Garrard (R.L. Stine’s Pumpkinhead) helmed the movie from a script by Suzanne Keilly (Slumber Party Massacre). Hailing from Blue Ice Pictures, the film counts Agudong, Garrard, Keilly and Lance Samuels as executive producers.

“Tubi has seen incredible momentum with YA viewers and continues to lead the charge with passionate horror fans, so bringing those worlds together felt like a natural next step,” says Tubi chief content officer Adam Lewinson. “Buzzkill is a bold, fresh fusion of both. It’s a uniquely twisted genre ride anchored by a vibrant, breakout cast.”

Agudong starred with Noah Beck in Sidelined 2: Intercepted, which debuted late last year and became the most-watched Tubi Originals feature.

Among the new Tubi Originals movies set to launch this year are How to Lose a Popularity Contest and Kissing Is the Easy Part.

Agudong is represented by Gersh and Trilogy Talent. Bassinger is repped by Paradigm, Industry Entertainment and Work Management. Aliyah’s Interlude is repped by WME and About:Blank Management.
