The Environment Agency has issued an alert for possible flooding for the rivers Deben and Lark on Friday.
It comes after a yellow warning for rain was in place across Suffolk on Thursday.
Areas most at risk are low-lying roads and riverside areas on the Deben from Debenham to Ufford, including Framsden, Earl Soham, Easton, Glevering and Wickham Market.

There is also risk of flooding around the River Lark and Fynn in areas such as Witnesham, Tuddenham St Martin, Playford and Grudisburgh.
The latest alert comes after multiple alerts were issued in Suffolk last week as Storm Goretti brought “heavy and persistent” rainfall.
A spokesman for the Environment Agency said: “The weather forecast is improving, and we expect levels to start returning to normal soon.
“We are monitoring rainfall and river levels and are not expecting the situation to escalate.”
The authority is advising people to avoid low-lying footpaths and bridges near local watercourses.
