IDF, Shin Bet, Police and Border Police forces have begun an extensive operation to thwart terrorism in the Jabel Johar neighborhood of Hebron. This was announced in a joint statement by the IDF spokesperson and Shin Bet, which noted that the operation’s purpose is to thwart terrorist infrastructure, eliminate illegal possession of weapons and strengthen security in the area. The operation will continue for several days, during which explosion sounds will be heard and increased IDF forces movement will be felt in the area.
