UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres met in New York with Lebanese Foreign Minister Youssef Ragi, ahead of the UN General Assembly meeting next week. Ragi demanded that the international community pressure Israel to stop attacks in southern Lebanon, and Guterres called on Israel “to respect Lebanon’s sovereignty and withdraw from occupied Lebanese territories.”
