The Irish actress is beautiful, and while it feels almost blasphemous that she hasn’t worn a single green dress throughout this press tour to play up that striking red hair, I will say that even if this Miu Miu dress were green, I still wouldn’t be on board.
There is simply too much happening with the bodice.
Did we really need three embellished bows? The straps feel unnecessary, and there are many pulls on the bodice too.
There are times when I am blown away by Miu Miu, and then there are moments like this when I find myself questioning the overall direction entirely.
I love the colour on her, but the design and execution is lacking, which is especially baffiling for a house as storied as Miu Miu.
The jewels are the real story here, with Jean Schlumberger by Tiffany & Co. ear clips, a Sixteen Stone by Tiffany & Co. bracelet and ring, and Bird on a Rock by Tiffany & Co. rings doing the heavy lifting.
