Opposition leader Yair Lapid met with President Isaac Herzog. After their meeting, Lapid claimed he told Herzog that “if Netanyahu wants his pardon to be seriously considered, he must submit a proper new request in accordance with the law, including an admission of guilt, expressing remorse and disgrace.” Lapid added: “Only then will it be possible to consider it seriously.”
