Disney+’s newest Marvel series is set to debut on Sept. 24. While some familiar names will return for the brand new Marvel Zombies, such as Elizabeth Olsen as The Scarlet Witch/Wanda, and Simu Liu as Shang Chi, other iconic MCU characters like Thor and Spider-Man are being recast.

Per The Direct, Marvel Studios has now revealed the brand-new cast of voice actors who will take on some of the most popular MCU roles of all time. The four-part Marvel Zombies will feature six new voices, replacing the original film actors. The series is loosely based on Robert Kirkman’s (The Walking Dead, Invincible) miniseries of the same name. The show takes place in an alternate reality of the MCU in which a virus has hijacked the majority of the Earth’s population and turned them into zombies.

While fans have become accustomed to Tom Holland’s web-slinging Peter Parker/Spider-Man in the MCU, the actor will not be reprising his role in Marvel Zombies. Instead, Spider-Man will be voiced by Hudson Thames. However, Thames is not new to the Spider-Man role. In fact, he voiced the character in Disney+’s animated Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man and What If…?, so it makes sense he would reprise it for Marvel Zombies.

Another actor recast for Marvel Zombies is Chris Hemsworth, who will not be lending his voice to Thor. The actor is currently filming Avengers: Doomsday, which marks his ninth MCU movie. Hemsworth did reprise his Thor role for What If…? However, in Marvel Zombies, Thor will be voiced by Greg Furman. Furman has previously appeared in The Goldbergs and also lent his voice to the video game Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. However, Marvel Zombies will mark Furman’s first role in animation.

Taking over Mahershala Ali’s role of Blade in Marvel Zombies is actor Todd Williams. The series marks the first time Williams has voiced Blade in an animated series. He previously voiced Titan in Invincible and Rick Mason in the PS5 game Spider-Man: Miles Morales.

Additionally, Kenna Ramsey will take over the role of Okoye in Marvel Zombies, which was played by Danai Gurira in Black Panther, Avengers: Infinity War, Avengers: Endgame, and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Ramsey previously voiced Okoye in What If…? Reportedly, Ramsey’s Okoye is slated to have a big role in Marvel Zombies, as she will be working directly under the Scarlet Witch.

As for the character of Baron Zemo, who was played by Daniel Brühl in the live-action MCU movies and television shows, the character will be voiced by Rama Vallury (Squid Game) in Marvel Zombies. Kari Wahlgren will voice the role of Melina Vostokoff in the series, taking over for Rachel Weisz, who played the live-action character in Black Widow. Wahlgren also voiced the character in What If…? She also voiced characters in X-Men ’97 and Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man.

Voicing the part of Wenwu will be Feodor Chin, who takes over for Tony Leung, who voiced the character in What If…? Leung also played the live-action Xu Wenwu in Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.

All four episodes of Marvel Zombies will premiere on Sept. 24 on Disney+.
