An election poll published Thursday night on Israel’s Channel 12 News found that support for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s Likud party had strengthened slightly.

If elections were held now, the poll projected, Likud would win 27 seats, up from 26 last week. According to the poll, the Joint List of Arab parties, if it is ultimately formed, would win 12 seats.

Bennett’s 2026 party remained the second-largest party with 20 seats in the scenario of a merger of the Arab parties. In this scenario, the opposition bloc would receive 70 seats, compared to 68 without the merger.

According to the poll, the Democrats party and Gadi Eisenkot’s Yashar would get 10 seats each. The distribution of the other seats remains unchanged from last week: Shas, Yisrael Beiteinu, and Otzma each receive 9 seats, while Yesh Atid and United Torah Judaism remain at 7 seats.

Once again, Bezalel Smotrich’s Religious Zionism, The Reservists, Benny Gantz’s Kahol Lavan, and the Arab secular party Balad – if a merger does not occur – would fail to cross the electoral threshold of 3.25 percent.

The poll was conducted by the Midgam Institute, headed by Mano Geva, in cooperation with iPanel.
