The WWE SmackDown locker room has a big, big problem on its hands. “The Ruler” Oba Femi makes his blue brand return on Friday, one week before the Elimination Chamber.
Femi has main eventer written all over him. The former two-time NXT champion is currently a free agent, fielding bids from SmackDown general manager Nick Aldis and Raw GM Adam Pearce. On Friday, Femi returns to SmackDown to further punish one of the show’s most intolerable superstars. Kit Wilson experienced Femi’s wrath in a short, impromptu match two weeks ago. This time, Wilson has adequate time to prepare, though it’s unlikely to do him much good.
Only two spots remain in both the men’s and women’s Elimination Chamber matches. Two more qualifiers, one in each division, are scheduled for Friday. Charlotte Flair, Nia Jax and Kiana James compete for the penultimate slot in the women’s match. Friday’s men’s qualifier features Carmelo Hayes, Damian Priest and Trick Williams.
