U.S. figure skater Amber Glenn is not quite ready to close the chapter on her 2025–26 season just yet.
The Olympic team gold medallist from these Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026 told Olympics.com’s Gracie Gold in an exclusive interview on Friday (20 February) that she intends to compete at the World Figure Skating Championships next month in Prague.
“I mean, Worlds – that’s in like three weeks,” said Glenn, when asked what’s next. “As of right now, I’m planning to compete there, which is great.”
The quick turnaround from the Games to Worlds will be no small feat, as Glenn plans to return home before coming back to Europe for the event.
She’ll have plenty to juggle following her success in Milano – including some organising around the house.
“There’s gonna be a lot to unpack,” said Glenn with a laugh. “Like literally, literally unpack. There’s so much stuff that was given to us at the beginning of the Games that we gotta somehow get home and find a place for.”
Despite what will certainly be a busy several weeks, Glenn is excited for the opportunity.
“I’ve never been to Prague, so I’m so excited for that,” she said.
The figure skater’s schedule probably won’t quiet down for some time.
“Then [after Worlds], I’ll get to do my second Stars [on Ice] tour, which I’m absolutely thrilled and so excited for,” Glenn said. “After that, it’s really just wherever the journey takes me.”
The World Championships will run 23-29 March.
