Cosmonaut Teteryatnikov to go to ISS by Crew Dragon spacecraft in H2 2026 – Roscosmos
MOSCOW. Feb 25 (Interfax) – Cosmonaut Sergei Teteryatnikov has been designated a member of the main crew of the U.S. Crew Dragon spacecraft to fly to the International Space Station (ISS) in the second half of 2026, Roscosmos said in a statement on Wednesday.
“Roscosmos cosmonauts Sergei Teteryatnikov and Arutyun Kiviryan (who joined the cosmonaut unit in an open contest in 2021) have been designated to the crews by an interagency commission. Sergei Teteryatnikov has been assigned to the main crew of the Crew Dragon spacecraft as a Crew 13 mission specialist,” the statement said.
Kiviryan has been assigned to the backup Crew 13, it said.
“The planned launch time is the second half of 2026,” the statement said.
“The flight will be performed under the Roscosmos-NASA agreement,” the statement said.
Roscosmos and NASA signed an agreement on cross-flights of Russian cosmonauts by U.S. SpaceX Crew Dragon reentry spacecraft and U.S. astronauts by Russian Soyuz MS spacecraft in July 2022 as part of the ISS program.
The ISS is currently operated by Roscosmos cosmonauts Sergei Kud-Sverchkov, Sergei Mikayev and Andrei Fedyayev, NASA astronauts Christopher Williams, Jessica Meir and Jack Hathaway, and European Space Agency (ESA) astronaut Sophie Adenot.
