Italy’s INGV, FiberCop to turn fibre network into seismic monitoring system
Italian wholesale operator FibreCop and the country’s National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV) have signed a memorandum of understanding to use fibre-optic cables as sensors for seismic and volcanic monitoring.
