Japan – Italy 6–5

Italy’s response, however, was solid. Between the 4th and 6th ends, the Italian pair scored three points in total, before a two-point end in the 7th restored parity at 5–5.
The result was decided in the final end, where Japan found the opening needed to secure the win.

After a positive start followed by difficulties in the middle stages, Rozkova and Lasmans turned the game around in the final two ends: first reclaiming the lead, then sealing the match with a four-point end in the eighth.
