The Palestinian Health Ministry announced that a 27-year-old Palestinian man was killed by Israeli fire in the Masafer Yatta area, south of Hebron. According to Palestinian reports, the deceased’s brother was seriously wounded. The IDF announced that army, police and Border Police forces rushed to the scene, near the village of Susya, following a report of a violent clash between Israelis and Palestinians in which several of those involved were injured. “From an initial investigation of the incident, an IDF reservist who rushed to the scene opened fire,” it was reported. “It is known that two Palestinians were hit and subsequently one of them died from his wounds.” An investigation has been opened in which the Military Police are also involved.
