Deni Avdija returned to the court after nearly two weeks away due to a back injury and helped Portland secure a convincing home victory 131-111 over Indiana. Avdija, who missed the previous six games (seven if including the game against Phoenix in which he played just one minute before getting injured), returned with a minutes restriction but showed very good ability. The Israeli forward played 25 minutes and finished with 18 points, shooting 6-of-16 from the field, 0-of-4 from beyond the arc and 6-of-6 from the free-throw line.
